Thursday, October 22, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: High-Penetration PV Integration in Distribution Systems

• Hear from leading utilities about ways they’ve overcome the challenges of integrating PV in their distribution grid and what they see as the next generation of PV integration challenges.
• See how advanced modeling capabilities at NREL are helping to solve real-world PV integration challenges.
• Join in a discussion with grid integration research engineers, utilities, and manufacturers about grid modeling technology and research needed to drive integration solutions.

Friday, October 23, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Advanced Inverter Testing and ESIF Tour

• Hear about the latest developments in state and regional regulations for advanced PV inverters, and the impact of those regulations on utilities and inverter manufacturers.
• Join in a discussion with PV inverter manufacturers and researchers on technology, research, and testing needed for advanced inverters.
• Tour the award-winning Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF) at NREL and see research on the leading edge of PV integration.

This workshop is designed for utility and PV industry professionals, engineers, equipment manufacturers and researchers. Preregistration is required and space is limited.
